2008 Awit Awards People’s Choice - Favorite New Group 3RD AVENUE is a young breed of performers with a common passion for music, friendship and other worthwhile endeavors. Versatile as they are, they embrace a wide range of music genre, from ballads, pop, jazz, R&B, OPM and many more. Their music has never failed to enchant music lovers who come to see and hear them perform.
These amazingly talented, experienced graduates of DLSU-CSB are professionals in their own right. Known for their impressive vocal harmony and diverse musical background, within the group are songwriters, industrial and graphic designers, athletes, composers, voice coaches, choirmasters, HR practitioners, vocal, choral and musical arrangers and session artists.
They have shared their music to some of the finest bars and restaurants in Metro Manila and have also brought their music to countless events, weddings, and other private & corporate functions.
They have released their debut album entitled “3rd Avenue: In Time”, an 11-track CD which features their first single “Aking Hiling” (theme song for QTV’s Asianovela “Sunrise”), their moving rendition of “Why Can’t It Be” (OST, GMA Films’ “My Best Friend’s Girlfriend”) and “Hangga’t Tayo’y Magkasama” (featured song, Daisy Siete Season 18) as their 3rd and latest single. All songs have reached the charts and are currently enjoying heavy airplay in radio stations around the country.
